TrueBlue Blueberry Savoury Vinaigrette

Makes about 1 ½ cups (375 mL)

TrueBlue Wild Blueberry

This savory recipe is perfect for dressing salads but also doubles as a simple marinade for meats and poultry.

INGREDIENTS:
½ cup (125 mL) TrueBlue Wild Blueberry (or any other flavor)
¼ cup (50 mL) olive oil
¼ cup (50 mL) red wine vinegar
¼ cup (50 mL) red onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
2 tsp (10 mL) prepared dijon mustard
1/8 tsp (.5 mL) ground pepper
½ tsp (2 mL) dried basil

METHOD:
Measure all ingredients into a medium size bowl. Whisk together for approx 1 min to blend thoroughly. Pour into a glass jar or bottle and refrigerate until ready to use.

Shake before serving.
