How long can I store opened TrueBlue™?
TrueBlue™ juice products do not contain preservatives and therefore, must be capped tightly and refrigerated after opening. For best results, use within 10 days.
How long can I store unopened TrueBlue™?
Unopened products under normal storage conditions are good for 6 to 12 months from the manufactured date. Please keep in mind that this will vary depending on the product and the storage conditions.

Is TrueBlue™ pasteurized?
Yes, TrueBlue™ is pasteurized to ensure safety for our consumers. Pasteurization (heating process) eliminates the possible presence of harmful bacteria. By using this procedure, we eliminate the need for preservatives. Because the product is pasteurized, remember to refrigerate after opening to maintain freshness.
Does pasteurization affect the antioxidant activity in the blueberries used to make TrueBlue™?
Pasteurization will lessen heat sensitive vitamins such as Vitamin C, but will not have an affect on the antioxidant compounds (such as anthocyanins) in blueberries. Two studies done on the effect of storage and processing of blueberries showed that there is actually an increase in the anthocyanin content after the blueberries were frozen and processed. (Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, 2002, 50:893-898.)
Is the package recyclable?
Yes, all TrueBlue™ products are packaged using recyclable PET plastic juice containers.
What does “from concentrate” mean?
“From concentrate” means that at harvest time, the water is removed from the juice of the fruit. Later, water is added back into the juice concentrate during the manufacturing stage.
What are antioxidants?
Antioxidants help neutralize harmful by-products called "free radicals" that can lead to cancer and other age-related diseases. These molecules battle cell and DNA damage involved in cancer, heart disease, diabetes, and perhaps brain degeneration.
