 INGREDIENTS:
2 cups (500 mL) TrueBlue Blueberry Cocktail (or any other flavor)
1 cup (250 mL) fresh or frozen blueberries
2 tbsp (30 mL) brown sugar
3 whole cloves
1 cinnamon stick, broken in half
juice from 1/2 lemon
METHOD:
Combine TrueBlue Blueberry Cocktail, blueberries, brown sugar, cloves and cinnamon stick in a heavy pot. Heat on high and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 10-15 mins. Remove cloves and cinnamon stick.
With a hand blender, puree mixture until blueberries are coarsely blended (some small pieces still remaining).
Add lemon juice and mix well. Serve warm. |
